Soft, comfortable and perfect compression.I bought the medium, I have size 8.5 in womens. I have large calves and was afraid that they would not it. But they are perfect they are very soft and don't pinch the toes. Even without putting the straps on they help relieve pain associated to my achilles tendonitis. When I put the straps on it helps my ankles and relieves the tension, I feel like I could do weight lifting again by wearing these. My main like for them is that they are not scratchy and it does not leave an intense crease in your skin and it does not cut off blood flow, and the coloration looks cool. So they are "stylish" for people with orthotic problems. I would definitely recommend getting them. 5Great post-injury supportThe compression sleeve is about 2-3x more supportive than the elastic ankle support I got at a local drugstore, so thankful for that extra support. Then the wide elastic, adjustable wrap made all the difference for supporting my ankle while it healed. 5Exactly what I have been looking for!!I have FINALLY found the product I have been looking for! My surgeon wanted me to tape my foot at night but that is costly and uncomfortable, so I had been looking for something better. I have a rare foot condition and have had multiple surgeries on both feet causing a loss of fascia. I needed something to bind my feet tightly after walking any kind of distance and for night time when they hurt so badly. This wrap does the trick!!! It is comfortable and I can loosen it or tighten it as much as I need to. It stays put and does not loosen on its own like an ace wrap would and isn't inflexible like tape; it is comfortable and flexible...I don't feel like my circulation is being compromised at all. Came two to a pack=perfect! 5Great ankle supportThis comfortably adjustable brace is exactly what I need for arthritis support. Since it is adjustable, if the ankle is swollen, the brace is still comfortable without constriction. The price is very affordable as compared to inferior products. Just what I was looking for. 5Dangerously bad product. Sold as a cure all- caused pain.The good- it appears well made and you actually get two sleeves in the packaging. Therefore, it seemed like a great value.The bad- despite what the description would lead you to believe, this is not a good tool to 'prevent arthritis' or other injuries. If you are pregnant or struggle with swelling- maybe this is for you. However, I chose this to stabilize my ankle and support the achilles tendon as a walker and casual runner.On my first run, it was so uncomfortable that I only made it .5 miles before needing to stop on the side of the road and remove the whole product. The discomfort was two-fold- it is thick enough with the band around the sleeve that your shoe will not fit right. There are pressure points that lead to pain.More significantly for me was the pain caused by the compression. If you follow the application instructions, The strap will cause blood flow to the achilles to be restricted. This causes a lot of pain and I'm guessing would lead to long-term injury.There are hints in the description that this product is problematic- mostly in that the language is clearly not from a native english speaker. The claims end up being vague or confusing. This problem is magnified in the instructions that come with the product- they are comically unclear. The pictures make the application clear.My advice is to only buy this product if it has been specifically prescribed to you by a doctor or PT- it is definitely should not be considered a product for healthy feet or ankles.I hate writing bad reviews, but this one is warranted. 1Good ankle supportI bought these after twisting my ankle while walking my dog on a trail. Fortunately, I didn't injure it but it made me realize how easily it could happen. Because I walk my dog every day, all year around, I wanted something that I could wear with sneakers or boots, depending on the weather. These give added ankle support without adding bulk, making my shoes too tight. 5Very good thought out designThis brace helped me a lot for my legminents to recover and heal. I have tried several different types, but they restricted the movement of my foot to much. I needed something that I could adjust how tight it needed to be for the degree of foot motion. 5Great Ankle BraceI love these ankle braces. They are very simple to put on and provided just the right amount of support to help my sprained ankle heal. I wore one while I washed the other. And I love the lime green color! 5No more limping every step I takeThese have been such a huge help to me, I have sprained my ankles on so many occasions in the past and I often wake up and have a hard time walking especially on cold or rainy mornings, these help stablize and support my ankles and I feel no pain while wearing them, I also put them on if I know I am going to be doing alot of walking on a particular day, my only issue is is that after a few hours they do start to feel restrictive like they are starting to cut off circulation and I need to take them off. But I think that is just general swelling due to my ankle problems and not the braces themselves. 5Great ankle braceMy ankle has be hurting for a few months and it got to the point that it was really limiting how long I could walk. I tried taping but which helped at bit but still could not walk for any length of time. I looked at the ankle braces and pick the Vanwalk active 2 because of the strap that crisscrosses over you ankle. That provides a lot of support. I am able to walk pretty far now without pain. I also find that after a few days my ankle doesn't hurt around the house; but I still use the brace for any heavy activity or long walks. 5
