Works for people and caninesBoth my dog and I had significant knee surgeries and we both started taking these during our recoveries at the suggestion of the vet. It is of course difficult to ascertain cause and effect of a supplement, but my 9 year old dog is now running around like a puppy and I'm hiking at 10,000 -12,000 elevations on rough terrain with no knee pain. So it can't hurt to try it. 5More Omega 3 Than Fish Oil + Glucosamine & More!I've been using these for two weeks now, at the recommended dosage of two capsules daily for my arthritis. Two capsules per day takes up a lot less space in my pill container and in my bottle drawer, than the separate giant fish oil pills that I used to take. Saves me money too, and while it does smell exactly like mussels, I take them at night before bed to prevent fishy burps.So far, they seem to be working pretty well.Important Note: My personal dosages that I take are based not on the bottle information, but on peer-reviewed, double-blind scientific studies on dosage efficacy. 4I bought these for my dog who is suffering from ...I bought these for my dog who is suffering from arthritis in his spine due to previous back injury.He was vet diagnosed with arthritis last fall.He was put on anti inflammatories and pain management, but he was still very stiff and sore most morningssince starting him on these it has helped out tremendously with his stiffness and soreness.he is 55 pounds and takes one capsule per day, we started to see results after the first bottle and he hasn't needed his vet prescribed pain meds in almost 2 months. 5Vet Recommended...I got this for my almost 8 year old pup s pain/inflammation per recommendation from my vet (along with some yucca root, also per his advice). In just a few days, she (my pup) has gone from not jumping up into her chair or wanting to play with her brother to doing all the above and running around in the yard on her own.Just FYI: She eats this best with 1/4 teaspoon of yucca powder mixed in 2oz wet dog food. (Just make sure you bust open the capsule & stir it in. About three or four years ago, i began to suffer from an unexplained, painful inflammation in my feet, ankles, hands and wrists. I was tested for arthritis and those tests came back negative. I know part of the problem is carpal tunnel, but that s a different story. So I came across information about this product and began taking it for this pain. After about a month, I had no more pain. The inflammation was pretty much gone. I took it faithfully for almost four months. I purchased in August, so this means I ran out sometime in December. I hadn t reordered and it s now a month later, MY PAIN IS BACK! With a vengeance. I couldn t understand why my pain was back and getting increasingly worse. I am thinking to myself, what s different? What am I doing different? A lightbulb went off over my head. It s not something I m doing different, it s something I stopped doing, taking my green lipped mussel. I believe that i got so used to being pain free, that I forgot I was taking my remedy daily that was truly helping me. Because i didn t think I had pain anymore, I didn t reorder. I can t wait to be pain free again. To all the naysayers, take it faithfully for at least a month before you decide. I ordered two bottles for me and two for my husband. The price is great and it works. This is a lifesaver.Added note: Yes it has a strong odor. It should because of what it actually is. Further, i believe the smell is attributed to the quality. I was a little apprehensive at first as how could something so inocuous make his slight limp go away that was caused by pretty traumatic injuries, but low and behold, it worked! I m not saying it s magic in a bottle, but the difference is night & day compared to prior to taking the pills. He s now running with ease, the limp is gone and he s never looked better. If you re looking for some post surgery help with leg injuries for your pup, this is where I would tell anyone who asked to start. 5Works to dull the painthe first time i tried it, my foot quit hurting, but since I've been on it, I can say it eases the pain, it doesn't do away with it. And is more effective when I take two at a time. Being skeptical about advertising & all their hype, I figured if this didn't work, at least I was only out less than $9 and while it would've been disappointing if this hadn't worked, it would've been even more disappointing if I had paid nearly $60 for it.Well, I take one pill twice a day and I also take Vitamin D with it and within days I was feeling the positive results. I've been on this less than a month and I'm now able to close my fists all the way with no pain. Most of the time I even forget that I was having signs of arthritis at all. I have osteoarthritis in back, hips, and knees - very painful. Usually take 3 - 4 naproxen a day just to move. My stomach pays the price of painkillers like this ts I thought I have nothing to lose. I take 2 capsules in the morning and I am good to go. I am a walker and had to cut down on that because of pain but no more. Most reviews I read said it could take 4 - 6 weeks before noticeable improvement. I found a difference to be quite remarkable after 7 - 10 days. Please, if you suffer from joint pain or back and hip pain, you owe it to your body to try this. I was not a fan of paying the high cost of all of those "joint supplements" which I found to never help me. This stuff is wonderful and is certainly affordable. I have only taken 2 Excedrin in the past 2 weeks and that was for a headache. I will never be without this again. 5
