I ordered this because I fell in love with this tea while visiting family back eastI ordered this because I fell in love with this tea while visiting family back east. However, there is definitely a difference between this label and the label purchased in the store. This particular one just has an "off" taste and smell to it, not chai-like at all. My DD stated that it smelled like dirty feet? Not please with this purchase and I will stick to purchasing the correct one in the store boxes next time2Different than plain chai but good.I love this tea. I usually drink the plain chai tea but couldn t find it any more at the local box store. Bought this holiday chai tea to give it a try and I liked it. It has some Jamaican rum flavor. I thought the price was reasonable.5Great taste and priceI really like the stash chai tea and read a lot of good reviews on the holiday chai so I thought I would buy it. Amazon had it for a really great price. They were supposed to be 100 teabags in the box but they were actually 108 so you can t complain about that. I like the taste of the regular chai tea better but this is really good too. I was looking to recreate the Chai tea lattes that I get at starbucks and I think this is better than the Teavana teabags they use. One teabag in 8 - 10 oz of water does the trick. I usually put a teabag in my cup while the Keurig brews my coffee over the top of it and it tastes really good. It has a spicy and slightly fruity flavor. Not a really strong tea leaf taste. Poor Presentation, but it's a great deal!This is one of my all-time favorite teas. A chai with a bit of nutmeg added, reminiscent of that hint of nutmeg in eggnog. Stash is one of the best store bought brands of tea and is as good or superior to the specialty tea stores. I also highly recommend the double bergamot earl grey and the double spice chai. The peach is also very good. To be sure, I like highly flavored complex teas with milk/cream and sweetener, and all of these fit the bill. It is a deal for the 100 bag box, and I shouldn't expect much, but they do come all thrown in to a corrugated cardboard box and not in any sort of displayable box as I have seen some other brands, where you can get 50 bags in a box. Two nice 50 bag boxes or five 20 bag boxes, with the bags neatly packed, would be nice for presentation, but this is my only issue and not worth knocking down the overall rating.5No discernable Chai flavorI like a lot of Stash Tea, and based on that confidence I order this in the bulk size. I made my first cup of this tea with three tea bags so it would be good and strong and spicy since you add milk to chai. It didn't taste like chai. It barely tasted like tea. Kind of a bummer, since I have 100 bags.2Christmas In The Kitchen!!!Every time my Husband makes Tea, he opens up the bag of Stash Tea Holiday Chai Black Tea, takes a deep whiff and says, "Oooh Christmas In The Kitchen", which reminds him of his boyhood home and standing in the kitchen by the old wood burner kitchen stove, at Christmas time. His Mom was taking cookies out of the oven, smelled sooo good!!! His Mom is sadly not with him anymore, but this brought back a wonderful memory that he hadn't mentioned to me before and we have been married almost 22 years. He has talks of her often over the years, but never mentioned this. Thank you Stash Tea Company for bringing this long ago memory back to him. A very greatful wife!5Excellent tea!This is a delicious chai tea! My husband and I enjoy drinking it straight or making lattes with it. We will buy it again! I love that the bags are in individual packages. Stash teas have generally been excellent in flavor and their packaging keeps the tea fresh and from mingling with other flavors while in storage.
