Good for some spots, inadequate for othersI have a decent amount of muscle, so this product may be better for people with less muscle or even overall weight.I'm a fitness trainer trying to collect valuable items for muscle tightness. After reading literature about muscle tightness, I got a lacrosse ball, foam roller, and much more, this product included.Initially it seems pretty decent, but after a handful of uses it seems to not be firm enough for many areas if I apply all or most of my body weight. If it's too much, it squishes down and isn't as effective as a conventional lacrosse ball. It's better for areas, for me, that I don't have to apply a ton of weight, such as my arms or calf muscles. 3Dont waste your moneyIt flattens out when you use it, I was looking forward to the spikes. A tennis ball does better 1Great for myofacial releaseGreat for myofacial release. I just put it on the floor and roll my back around on it and it relieves muscle knots. It has been working much more effectively for me than the foam roller at my gym granted that I roll myself out without a friends help in both cases.Edit: I reduced my rating from 5stars to 1star because it has only been 1.5months, but the ball has softened and is no longer effective. This product would be better if it were made of solid rubber instead of filled with air. You probably need to reinflate it constantly for it to maintain its hardness if you have the equipment, and I don't know how effective it would be upon reinflation. 1Green and blue ballSo I received the green and blue color balls! They are a better fit than the purple ball because they are more fuller and harder. I have plantar fasciitis so these worked wonders on my feet. I suggest go with the green or blue for an intense feeling. There is no feeling of deflation in the balls unlike the purple ball. The green on is the harder one and the blue one no so much but it's been my favorite. I suggest trying the blue ball first and then if you want something more harder and intense upgrade to the green ball. The purple ball is a soft ball and I did not feel anything in my feet. (My dogs thought it was their ball since it was so soft). Every time I stepped on it, it felt like it was deflating. I use them (green & blue) twice a day, when I wake up and right before I go to bed and it's been the best massager for my feet. Totally recommended these to my bf and family members...........plus they have excellent customer service 4Great product and Great customer service!!Great massage ball!! It fits nicely behind my neck and fits perfectly in the space between my scapula and my spine!! The spikes give it a unique feeling!!! Best of all I can use it anywhere!! It is probably an automated message but atleast he took the time to do that. 5Seem more like plastic than rubberI received the medium firm and the firm spiky massage lacrosse balls today. They do not seem to be made of natural rubber as advertised. They are made in China and seem plastic like. They have a mild chemical odor, enough to cause a reaction in me who has multiple chemical sensitivities. The spikes are ok.
