A TASTE OF SOUTH AFRICA- RED BUSH teaWOW! I had been drinking another brand of Rooibos tea before I purchased ROOIBOS ROCKS! I did not have any comparison in my red rooibos (Roy-boss) tea from another- until I opened Rooibos Rocks 1 pound bag of tea!What a difference and you can see for yourself in the pictures.**ROOIBOS ROCKS tea smells divine, is silky (slides through your fingers!), larger- more natural tea, distinct in color, and taste like Red Bush tea should taste! The tea I had was dry, not dark, teeny specks and it taste fine but I knew no difference.**I have to thank all the reviewers who have written about this tea, because of YOU (and I read many reviews), I went ahead and finally bought Rooibos Rocks tea! THANK YOU!****AND NOW I need to thank the company and the owners who have brought us this unbelievable tea. Not only do we get a TOP NOTCH tea but we get company support like I have never experienced! Other owners could take advice from this company on Customer Service!! For instance- I received a personal note from the co-founder and besides some nice things she said, she let me know I could make THIS tea ahead of time, up to ten days and put it in the fridge. FOR ME that was some wonderful news. My body does not always feel up to making 6 pots of tea a day and so that advice helps me a lot.Do not hesitate purchasing- the info is there for the difference this tea can do for our body, PLUS it tastes great.***A taste from South Africa.5Strong chemical smell in Dec 2017 batch!Have been enjoying this loose tea for a long while till the very recent bag I purchased on Dec 14, 2017. Switching from the previous bag to the current one, we noticed a distinct chemical smell. I wonder if they changed supplier or it s just batch to batch variations. I have included the bar code here. Not sure if any other users are experiencing the same issue. I think I ll just discard this bag because I can t identify the smell (not vanilla flavored...)2Best Rooibos tea and it's organic!I have to say this is the first time I tried Rooibos tea and I loved it. I heard so much about the benefits of red tea that I finally decided to try it.It has such a great taste, that's so refreshing and fruity. I like it hot with just a little bit of honey, but it tastes great cold too.I even tried it in my Kombucha tea and it turned out amazing! I just added 1 tablespoon of red tea to the 4 bags of black tea when making my kombucha. What a great new flavor for the kombucha! Even the kids loved it.I am really glad that the Rooibos Rocks offers organic red tea. I am always very concerned about any chemicals in my food, but especially tea.Thanks for offering such a great tea! You guys, rock!Highly recommended!5Your Rooibos Rocks Rooibos Tea is MORE Than Wonderful!I have been I purchasing the Rooibos Rocks loose leaf package because I love to brew the tea to a dark red color with a more intense richer flavor. Have not yet brewed even one bitter cup, it always taste wonderful, either hot or iced, with sweetener or without - I always enjoy my cuppa Rooibos tea. I have purchased the box of tea bags for a quicker brew, and they too make a excellent cup. As you can see in the photo, I use a coffee press, without the plunger, and then pour thru a tea strainer to filter.5Good for me for a bunch of reasons.I am not a tea expert but do like different tea flavors. This tea has a nice flavor with a plesent woody flavor. I find I like this as a weaker tea than stronger which makes it last longer. More of a flavoring in water without the chemical additives in water flavorings. I do put honey and lemon with it. I find I drink more liquids this way than with plane water and ti satisfies my thirst with a plesent lasting taste . I have ordered my second package without being none with the first. This is a great addition to my home grown mint teas and I will be trying to mix it with other tea also for an additional tast change. There is nothing like this on my store shelves. Additionally it is a good buy for the quantity compared to store prices for spice tea.5Just had my first brew....DELICIOUS!Just had my first brew.... DELICIOUS! I had a hot mug and have the rest of the brew in my refrigerator as I'm sure it will also make a delicious iced tea. While, you could add honey and/or milk to it, I prefer adding absolutely nothing to the Rooibos Rocks. It's such a great alternative to coffee and caffienated tea. Will order again (and again, and again!)5Fantastic taste, fresh and economicalI've used the Rooibos Rocks tea bags for several months and really like them. But, I tend to go thru then SO quickly (because they are delicious) and it was getting expensive. I decided to try the loose leaf version since it was more economical. I was hesitant because of the hassle of dealing with loose leaf tea v the ease of tea bag. But, I'm actually happier with this loose leaf tea! I took a bit of the tea out of the large bag and put it in a smaller sealed jar, so I can use out a little at a time without constantly opening the larger bag. Hopefully, the big bag will stay fresh this way. I experimented with using 1-2 teaspoons per mug (my mug is a little larger than your standard 8 oz tea cup) and have found that 1 teaspoon is a perfect amount for me. This means this bag is going to last for a very, very long time even drinking several cups a day. Woohoo! Also, this tea tastes fresher to me than the ones in the individual tea bags. The tea bags are great, not saying anything bad about them...I use those for when I can't conveniently use the loose tea.5You did it again! Well done Rooibos Rocks!I received my pack of Rooibos Rocks last week. What a treat. The flavor of Rooibos Rocks is simply beyond any other Rooibos I have ever drank. My kids (yes its healthy for kids) and I just love the ritual of making tea with loose leaves, it makes you appreciate slowing down for a tiny moment.Love the packaging! You did it again! Well done Rooibos Rocks. Definitely my new favorite brand on Amazon.5The quality has degradated immenselyI have been buying this product for the past 2 years+. It used to be one of the best in the market... The quality has degradated immensely. It used to be all roibos needle-looking leaves and now is mostly crushed and mixed with scrap parts of the plant. Very sad....1Dental Hygienist's DreamI love several cups of coffee and tea each day though the caffeine caused problems. In addition, my long time dental hygienist would cringe each 6 months when she tried to clean all the coffee and tea stain from my teeth. In exploring healthy caffeine free alternatives I happened upon Red Rooibos Herb Tea that has proven to be a super pleasant surprise both for me and my hygienist. I've discovered that this tea does not contain any tannin acids like all my other tea and coffee choices. Tannin acids, apparently, are what's responsible for most of our teeth staining. At my last teeth cleaning dental visit, my dear hygienist was shocked with the positive difference. I also found out another little known benefit of this herb tea, in contrast to green or black tea, is that it does not contain a speck of Oxalic Acid which is something to be avoided by anyone with a tendency toward kidney stones. Two surprising little known additional pluses for me to reorder this very healthy tea again.5
