I'm spoiled!This is a new favorite for me. It's my go-to coffee in the morning when I want something non-flavored and robust. Good stuff. No bitterness or burnt taste like some strong coffees offer. I like my coffee strong and this fits the bill. I drink it black, and enjoy the flavor this provides. I've reordered it several times for the Keurig's we have at home and the office.5My first cup tasted like rain waterI agree with may other people reviewing. The white cups are weaker than the original. My first cup tasted like rain water. They also came without any kind of protective packaging and some were ruined. Don't know who distributed or packaged these but I think it's pretty hard to ruin a premium coffee but they did. I'm back to Cafe Nero or Starbucks. I'm very unhappy.1Defective pods: more coffee grounds than brewed coffee in the cupI don't know if this vendor bought Peet's 'rejects' or whether the packaging is fake, but nearly every one of these pods leaked massive amounts of coffee grounds into the cup.It is not my brewer because I have pods purchased from other vendors and no problems at all with those. I throughly cleaned the brewer anyway. Still, only the pods from this vendor continue to dump massive amounts of coffee grounds into the cups. As much as I love this coffee, and as expensive as it is, I might have to throw away 25 of the 60 pods because it is just so aggravating to end up with undrinkable coffee in the morning!2Very disappointed in flavorThe taste of this coffee seems weaker than before. It normally has a bolder flavor. I also noticed that the cup is white instead of the usual brown colored. I don't know if this means anything but I think I will be changing my brand of coffee.2CAUTION - They are apparantly selling two products under the same name!1/19/2017 - Update... a tale o two coffees! I have purchased this product four times now. My first review above applied to my first two (out of four orders). Order #3 was noticeably different - the coffee was weaker than orders 1 and 2, and I checked more than once to make sure I had gotten the right stuff. I had recalled the plastic cups from orders 1 and 2 were black, and the cups on order 3 were white. On faith - even though I was not happy with order #3, I re-ordered. When order 4 came, the cups were black again. Since I still had 1 cup from order #3 left, I weighed the two cups. The black cups weighed in at 17 grams and the white cup at 11! Huge difference! Now the dilemma is how to make sure they are going to send the 'right' cups going forward. i would love to get an explanation of THAT!5I am a big fan of Pete's Major Dickason's however ...I am a big fan of Pete's Major Dickason's however, this case of K-Cups seems to be defective. In the past I have not had issues with their K-Cups but just about every K-cup seems to have an issue with the foil top not being secure. When I try to use them in my Keurig the foil edges come undone and the grinds get everywhere in my Keurig and in the coffee. Very disappointing. I don't plan on order another case for fear I get another defective batch.1Cups aren't sealed!! Leaking mess!!I'd give it ZERO stars if possible. Of the 60 cups ... almost 2/3 weren't sealed properly and leaked all over. Grounds everywhere and coffee not worth drinking. Plus then you have to clean the machine. Worst EVER!!! 1You would think that they would have a better way of shipping these without the glue melting off ...Most of these pods had the top unglued and when I put them in my Keurig they made a huge mess! They exploded out of theKeugid and I had to clean coffee grounds from all over. Not to mention taking out the Keurig pieces and running them under water.I had stopped ordering these for this reason and then I forgot. What you save you end up throwing away in messed up coffee pods.You would think that they would have a better way of shipping these without the glue melting off around the tops!1If you like a robust dark roast, you will love it.Great tasting coffee.We tried this after having got a bag of Peet's dark roast on sale. We had never tired it before. We loved it from the first cup.Compare the taste to Starbucks Sumatra blend, with more flavor. This dark roast has no bitterness or any aftertaste. Also has a taste close to the Gevalia dark royal roast, I think I may like the Gevalia a little better.This was a great value for the amount of pods we got.I drank this using the 8oz option on the keuring, you may try the 10 if you don't like it as strong.5Defective topsBought 40 count...stopped using into the first box..every one exploded and made one heck of a mess...if I could give 0 stars I would...the foil tops are defective and not sealed.. some had holes in them..?..this is like buying tires with a hole in the them...unacceptable.Love the flavor of the Peets..but being non returnable...I will not buy these from Amazon again..back to store bought..no problems there...these must be repackaged or something weird...1
