Experienced relief with this braceI suffer with chronic neck and shoulder pain as a result of bad posture and this does seem to help. I have not yet tried to wear this daily (as I should), but feel immediate relief from pain just by this brace's support. I try to wear this over a fitted tshirt (as pictured) because it does rub and cause chafing under arms. The sizing is confusing but I followed the chart and ordered a large. (Which is odd for someone 5'4", 110lbs) the large seems to fit, but I could probably get away with medium. My ortho dr recommended the intelliskin shirt, but this seems to do the job at a fraction of the price. 4I am unsure if a comfortable device is realityThis works very well. I bought it for my husband who pulled muscles in his back. It is a bit uncomfortable but then again when you re rehabilitating from an injury, I am unsure if a comfortable device is reality.I had a shoulder dislocation that involved my clavicle and as a female .finding a brace that didn t cut off circulation with a strap over the breast area has been a daunting task. This device is easier to conceal than the majority of these devices in feminine clothes. The adjustable Velcro has allowed me to use this as well. I am mainly wearing it at night and I have seen significant healing already because it holds my shoulders with good stability. I also wear it while doing housework and work that flexes my back while I heal. The downside is that the band that comes around your midsection would be much better if it was wider. I altered it a bit to size it down for me and I can see keeping it in my arsenal of knee and elbow braces for any injuries in the future for us or friends.This runs fairly true to size and seems like it will hand wash very well. I wear it over my nighty so I haven t washed it yet. It does look a bit like I forgot to take off bungie rigging so forget looking discrete or cute while wearing this. 4OK, but too smallQuality is OK, but not great. It contains rubber so it is stretchable and cuts into the shoulders. It is too small if using the manufacturer's guide to order. I measured 33" chest (just under the armpits when inhaled) and ordered large (that is in the middle of the range for a large. It is too small and cannot be velcroed in the place. I would suggest ordering the next size up, whatever your measurements are and then cutting off the excess ribbon (if any). 2Definitely helpsI have had poor posture for a long time, but have been skeptical about ordering any posture aids because of the less than stellar reviews most of them have. I took a chance with this one because it had an overall better rating than many others. I like it very much. I gave it four stars because after a while it does cut into my armpits, which is annoying. I feel like this acts as more of a reminder to pull my shoulders back, because if I allow myself to slouch, I still can. After about a week, I find myself correcting my posture automatically, so it's definitely helping. With respect to the sizing, I measured according to their directions, and should have ordered a size Large. That just didn't seem right to me, and upon reading some other reviews where people mentioned their sizes, I went with a medium instead. So, glad I did. The large would have been to big. I am 5'6 and 115lbs. 4Recommend for the priceOverall it is a good posture corrector. One with a type of metal in it probably would give more support, but I work in a prison and needed one that was metal free.Easy to put on. I ordered an XXL according to size guide, but I do feel like I may have gone too big. I feel with a smaller size I may have more correction. The comfort level was about a 4 to start with. It took some getting used to and I did make several trips to the bathroom to adjust the underarm part where they had gotten twisted. The first day wearing I made it about 6 hours before taking it off which I thought was good. I could tell in between my shoulder blades that the muscles were sore where they were not used to being held in that position.Recommended for the price. 4You CANNOT return or exchange this item!!!I bought this for my daughter and the description said that it runs snug and to order up a size. I did just that (a large instead of a medium) and it is way too big! I went to exchange it only to find out that I couldn't. I have a Prime membership and this fulfilled by Amazon and I couldn't find anywhere (before I ordered or after) that said exchanges/returns were not available. Very disappointing. We are stuck with this one that is too big and I will not be buying another one! 1Best design for posture supportBest design for a posture corrector. I have bought a few different ones. This design is the best. The way it crosses in the back helps support those muscles bettween the shoulder blades that get stretched when slouching. It also gets the trapezius muscle to relax. The trapezius is attached to the neck, shoulders, and back. When that is tight it can cause all kinds of pain... Headache, shoulder pain, upper back pain. This design is the most comfortable one(they are all a bit uncomfortable under the arms). I tried one that is a figure eight design but it rides up to the upper back and puts pressure on the shoulders. A brace needs to go around the chest like this one does to keep it stabilized. I am a dental hygienist and have tested all of them while working. This one works the best for me. It is helping me get back my postural health. I followed the sizing by measuring the chart as instructed. I am 5'6, 114lbs and ordered a large. Fits fine. 5If you have arm pits... you'll find this uncomfortable to wear.This product, while effective, pinches the armpits. I purchased it to help prevent me from slouching my shoulders forward. I sit at a desk all day and was hoping to be able to wear this to help correct my rounded shoulders. There is just too much material in the arm pit area for this to be comfortable for long wear use. Since it is not returnable, I have to keep it but after trying it on, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without modifications. I will try to sew the arm pit strap to the strap that wraps around the chest to pull the material away from my armpits... 2No pain, no gainLet me first say that I don't expect any posture aid to be particularly comfortable - trying to correct poor posture will inevitably have some discomfort. For the reviews saying this is uncomfortable, I'm not sure what they were hoping it would be. For me it is most uncomfortable where the straps go around my shoulders as it can dig into my armpits - however, I think this is a side effect of my posture and typically happens when i wear the brace longer, thus starting to slouch more.Time will tell whether this actually helps with my posture long-term, but so far I've been satisfied. After a car accident 2 years ago, some back and neck injuries have worsened my posture and I needed something to help provide stability and remind me to correct my slouch throughout the day. I do feel that it helps to straighten my upper back where I need it most, and I've noticed that it's easier to correct my posture even when I'm not wearing it now. I typically don't wear it for very long periods - usually 30-45 minutes 1-3 times a day.Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. I measured an XL and bought the XXL as recommended. 2. If you tighten too much around the lower rib, it will inhibit breathing and the brace will not be able to be flexible when you move. 3. If the brace starts to rub under your arms, this is a reminder to lower you clavicle. Once you lower you clavicle and push your shoulders back, the brace is much more comfortable and doesn't rub. As you may be used to hunching your shoulders, this may take a while to become automatic and keep you clavicle lowered all the time.I felt IMMEDIATE relief in my neck and upper shoulders the moment I put it on.
