Great hamstring support and no pain while running.I strained my hamstring a week before I was to compete in a triathlon. I got this brace 2 days before I was to compete. The first time I ran with the brace was during the race. I had absolutely no pain and was able to run the entire time. This brace provided great support. The fit felt great and it definitely was not too restrictive. It stayed in place the entire time. I wore it over compression shorts and the waist strap was on my skin. Thee was no rubbing or chafing from the waist strap. It was very comfortable. If you have nagging hamstring pain I highly recommend this brace. 5To my thrilled surprise it actually worked!I was skeptical this, or any, neoprene brace would help because my groin pull was so painful it seemed unlikely something so simple could make a difference. But, desperate not to have to take time off from work to recuperate, I took a chance on it and to my thrilled surprise it actually worked immediately! I don't understand exactly how it works but surmise that it must help keep muscles in place so they don't get strained when they aren't properly supported by surrounding muscles. Of course, I still make sure to move carefully to speed my healing. However, without the brace, moving carefully doesn't always help. Without it there inevitably are the intermittent stabs of pain that threaten to throw my healing back another couple days. With the brace I rarely have pain and then only if I'm moving too fast and hard because I forget I'm injured. BTW - I rarely review products (because I'm basically lazy I guess) but I felt strongly about this product and hope it might help others. 5... 57 - I was having Thigh pain that felt like "pressure" in the center of my Femur which started ...I have had a full left knee replacement at age of 46 due to an accident and now left hip replacement at 57 - I was having Thigh pain that felt like "pressure" in the center of my Femur which started about 5 months after my hip replacement. It would get more uncomfortable when I tried to do any exercise or activity, so I decided to give my thigh extra support to see if I could get rid of this very uncomfortable pressure.I looked everywhere for a thigh support that had 3 straps to add the extra support that I needed for my thigh bone, ODIFIT is the only support that I found that had this and the extra strap around the waist to keep it in place.The ODIFIT Support Brace has done the trick! When I have it on I don't get the "pressure" pain in my thigh bone. Very comfortable to wear.The smell is not appealing but does dissipate in a couple of days and then the odor is gone.I highly recommend this brace - it is fantastic to be active again 5Effective compression at the right priceThe brace itself is effective. The combined heat from the neoprene and compression from the straps have been surprisingly effective at minimizing my hamstring/glute discomfort. It can be worn on either leg, While not difficult to put on, it will require a few applications to become proficient. Instructions are included if you haven't worn this type of brace before. If you wear compression shorts underneath, it will slip. I have had better results with the brace on bare skin with minimal slippage. The brace comes as pictured with storage bag and instructions. It seems to be well made; however, the thread around a seam has started to unravel after only week of use. I have deducted a star for that. I will update accordingly if the long term durability of the brace is less than anticipated. 4Godsend for groin pull!My husband has had excruciating pain in his groin due to a muscle pull. The dr. Wanted him to do physical therapy but his work schedule does not allow for him enough time off to make the weekly appointments. Hes been suffering from this 9 plus months and just gotten worse to the point it's hard for him to walk. I did some research and didnt even know they had products like this. I came across this one due to the reviews and it has not disappointed. My husband and has been wearing it going on 2 weeks straight from the first minute he wakes up. He works in a shop so he is on his feet for 9 hours at his work day he is constantly walking back and forth and lifting, he has not complained ONCE about the pain and he is feeling so much better in just 2 short weeks. My husband is one of the biggest complainers (lol) so for him to rave about this brace says a lot! He says its comfy and light and doesn't bother him at all during the day. He is just so relieved to have the pain gone I hope this helps his pull heal.. so far it's working like magic. Thank you for making such a practical product !! 5Great support IF you are more than 5 ft 5 in tqll.Was excited to receive to help repeated hamstring strains/pull, but it did not fit. The description says for men or women, but should indicate that user needs to be minimum 5'5 " ht.'; I'm 5'1". After I finally got the support on, the leg portion was much too low, no support near top of thigh where needed. Also said for either leg, but very difficult to secure on right leg - requires fastening waist velcro in back while stretching band to secure. Left leg use would fasten in front. Would be better to have separate parts with leg support fastening to waist support after secured in front.. The support was well-made and with proper fit, would have provided the support I needed. 4EDS HelpThis product was a life savor for my daughter who suffers from Ehlors Danlos Syndrome (EDS). This connective tissue disorder, often kept my daughter in bed, immobile for days, weeks, at a time (from 10 years old till now at 18). Her most recent specific joint popping out of place and giving excruciating pain, was her hip. The first day of the groin support arriving, she was up moving about, and the next, able to go on a family trip we thought she would have to miss. Due to the the snug but movable suport, she is able to take part in life AND within a few days (instead of the usual weeks of physical therapy) her joint popped back in. She is leaving for college soon and the first thing on her packing list is your groin support / hip brace. Thank you!!!! 5THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY TO USE, SO I DON'T.If you wear this on the right leg the product labels are perfect. Unfortunately, the designers did not take inconsideratio, or they didn't care, how the labels would apprear on the left leg ...and so the labels are on the back side of the left leg and it drives me insane. I missed the opportunity to return this so not I'm stuck with something that drives me crazy to use so I don't. UGHHHHH POORLY DESIGNED PRODUCTS ARE THE DEVIL. 1The pain was one of the worst pains I had ever felt in my entire lifeI had an accident 2 weeks ago and ripped my entire right hamstring from the bone. The pain was one of the worst pains I had ever felt in my entire life! I was in the mountains at the time and was dreading the 5 hr drive home to be treated by my orthopedist. My husband ordered the UNIQUE Groin support sleeve brace for me from Amazon Prime. We received the brace a day later. From the very second I put it on and was strapped in, 60 to 70% of the pain was gone! I'm not kidding! Part of what was causing my pain was that the hamstring was dangling from the bone. The groin brace held everything together tight enough where the hamstring was not able to move at all. I was then able to get into the car to travel back home with simnifically reduced pain. It was comfortable to use, easy to strap yourself in, sleep with it on and keep it on while taking care of your bodily functions. Without the UNIQUE Groin brace I would not have survived the horrific pain while I was waiting for my surgery date. I highly recommend this amazing brace for any hamstring strains, avulsed hamstrings or injuries to the thigh, as it helps tremendously to minimize the pain associatedwith movement. 5Not as described, useless for hip painFirst, the images show two different makes. The strap on the mannequin is not the same as the one on the man. The waist strap can't be in front on both legs, sorry. So, now on to the product itself. The product is actually not the one on the mannequin, but the one on the human. If you use it on your left leg, the waist strap fastens in the back.Cons:1. It is not breathable as they say. It makes me very, very warm.2. The strap with the velcro hooks is wider than the strap it connects to, so the rough hooks rub against your skin no matter how you attach it. Very uncomfortable.3. It does not actually support your hip. In fact, it twists and forces my leg out to the side, to where I have to apply constant force to keep it under my body. This adds extra strain on my hip, which causes extra pain.4. The waist strap comes way higher up than the images show. It covers the bottom of my ribcage if it is attached properly around my thigh. This makes it difficult to move and bend, and is very uncomfortable. I am not a short person, so its not because of that.Pros:I like the black and blue color. 1
