I highly recommend this productI have been using NOW brand Acidophilus 2 billion since Nov 2014. Having had serious gas pains in front and back, I found this product relieved my upper gastrointestinal pain. Hardly any burping now. I just broke open the 8 billion bottle and used two capsules to date. I highly recommend this product, especially following anti bacterial medicines, as they seem to kill all the beneficial bacteria along with the harmful. A very good product space out the dosages... and find your happy place. 5Bought by mistake but very gladI put this in my cart while researching NOW probiotics, when I found another one I forgot to delete this one, so now I have 240 capsules! But that is just fine with me, saves me having to reorder right away as I'm loving the result of both NOW probiotics. 5A MiracleI have IBS and this stuff changed my life. I have tried everything including plain Acidophilus which was not helpful, but never this combo of probiotics. It works fantastically for me. I can't eat more normally without pain or problems later. It has really regulated my digestion and I am very, very happy. The shipping was fast and the product is obviously fresh because, as I said, it works wonderfully. 5Efficacious - works wellThis is one of my favorite probiotics. It is good to switch probiotics or take different kinds at the same time. This one is one of the less expensive ones that you can have on hand all the time. It is efficacious. 5I like this product so farI take one of these in the afternoon before dinner (on an empty stomach). I take another type of probiotic in the morning as well as eating yogurt which has acidophilus in it. I do keep it in the refrigerator as the instructions suggest because only one a day will last me for 4 months and it will eventually lose its potency. I'm just experimenting with what I take and at what time of day so I can't say this is better than anything I have previously taken. But I can say that I am no longer taken prescription acid reducer medication and I feel fine. Time will tell. 4Worked for me so far after a week.With the given news about the majority of supplements failing to contain what they display on their label, I decided to test this product out. You can simply release the contents of one pill in a bowl or tupperware of milk, sealing is preferable to simulate the anaerobic environment of the gut, and the milk will curdle within 12 hrs, which it did for me. So at the very least there is active bacteria in here. It also seems that probiotics are a game of numbers compared to the trillions of microbial competitiors already residing in your gut, so 8 billion matters more than the 1 billion. The bottle was not expired, citing Dec 2016 on their label. The pills were as advertised, and no affront to the senses. My stooling habits have seemed to improve, watery burning diarrhea from malabsorbtion secondary to bacterial overgrowth has seemed to resolve for me. Could still be placebo or passage of time. 5Good Value and QualityHave not noticed anything yet! I was already taking two other types of probiotics. I started these to add some more acidophilus to my diet. 5Great for lowering histamine, general gut healthThe strains in this product are helpful at degrading oxalates and are all histamine lowering or histamine neutral strains. Kids and I all took it without issue. I worked up to 6-8 caps per day fortseld and 2/day for the kids. It also helped with MCAD reactions. Will be making this a part of my probiotic rotation. 5Another Winner By NOWGood product at a good price. Thankfully Amazon has them on the subscribe list so I never run out. Acidophilus is a must for my daily health. Some supplements I can live without but not this one. NOW is a trusted brand and I use many of their products. There is a debate on the refrigeration of Acidophilus but for me as long as put it in the refrigerator when I get it, all seems good. I have purchased directly from a store that keeps them refrigerated but they didn't get there in a refrigerated truck so who knows how long they were exposed to heat. And the stores charge a lot more.What to improve your digestion then get this product.Highly recommended. 5Use this every dayUse this every day. My doctor advised me to use this twice a day for recurrent urinary tract infections. I use this and so does my husband along with Vinegar capsules as our doctor told us the two together would help inflammation we get in our bodies as we age. 5
