Excellent coffee. Non standard KCup design. Well worth the purchase.This is very good coffee. Keurig brewers are a great convenience, but the sacrifice is usually in the quality of the coffee. No worries with this JO coffee. I ordered two other varieties from JO coffee, but have not tried them yet.The New York is medium boldness. Has a well rounded flavor without being bland or weak. Please note that I use a Bunn single cup maker and always use the pulse feature which brings out the coffee flavor. We have a Keurig at work, so if I test it in the Keurig I will add to this review.As others have noted, this is not a true KCUP that you can house in a kcup display rack. The top has the typical flat piece that gets punctured. The rest is all filter. If you have ever used a Cameron brand single cup, it is just like those. SO, that means you should use these fairly quickly after opening them. They come in a resealable plastic pouch with a strip of tape that you can use to close the bag with. If not having an actual all plastic Kcup is a show stopper, then you will not be happy with this no matter now good the coffee tastes. For me, it is a non issue.5New favorite for this bold coffee lover!I tried this brand on a whim, as it's been a while since I've switched it up from my other Amazon favorite. Bought all three. I must say that the medium dark roast is a great cup! Smooth, dark, no pickiness...just a nice dark morning cup of coffee. I probably won't be buying the medium roast again only due to personal preference for a dark espresso like flavor, but I just placed another order for both the Dark and Medium-Dark. If you like a dark bold cup of coffee that is better than most, try this brand. You might be surprised.5Love New York Jo CoffeeI love this coffee for the flavor and smell. I drink my coffee with nothing added to it. I do not find it bitter. Will make a very good tasting 8 oz. cup of "JO" when brewing normally on the Keurig 2.0. Any more than 8 oz., and it loses much of it's robust flavor. When I tried brewing 10 oz. on the "strong" setting on the Keurig, it had a more robust flavor than brewing 10 oz. on the normal setting, but with a definite burnt taste. Overall, a decent cup of coffee at a fairly reasonable price for K-cups, with the added bonus of being eco-friendly.4Very weak dark roastAgain I'm disappointed by Jo's dark roast/medium dark roast coffee. Even on an 8 setting on the Keurig 2.0, the flavor just isn't there. Very average to weak flavor. Will not buy again. Tried Wild Jo and found the same problem. Too bad because it's organic.2Give it a try, you won't be disappointedI sometimes get the feeling keurig pod makers feel keurig users can't tell the difference between a good and bad cup of coffee and put the lowest quality coffee in the pods. This brand is way above any cup of coffee I have ever gotten from a typical keurig coffee pod and has given me hope that I don't have to compromise the quality just because I want the convenience of a single cup Brewer. Because they are packaged in a filter material, I store them in a jar to help keep them fresh. I have also purchased New York Jo in ground coffee for my regular coffee maker and am just as happy with the way it turns out. Both of my coffee makers allow me to use a bold setting so I have not been disappointed in the flavor as some others have mentioned.
