Cheapen the product and it showsThe new recipe has bad flavor and all the beneficial ingredients have been removed. My body feels the difference as well as my tastebuds. Wake up Vega!Also, get with it and make this stuff organic certified!!! 1Caffeine with more caffeineChanging the yerba mate to straight up caffeine is a disappointment. all the accompanying side effects regularly intaking a heavily caffeinated beverage are present, heart palpitations, withdrawal headaches, jitteriness. Looking for alternatives now - so disappointed this used to be my main go to for my morning run. The taste is tart and takes getting used to, but that's a bearable change. 2The stuff taste awful.This stuff taste awful. Everytime I drink it I want to through it up, and the only reason I m drinking it is because I paid money for it but Never again will I buy it. I used the old formula and I like that one but this new stuff is just bad. I will never buy it again. I don t want to give it no stars. 1Amazing new flavor!LOVE! I have used Vega sugar free energizer for years in the lemon lime flavor. While that flavor was ok, the strawberry lemonade is amazing! I want to drink it all the time not just pre-workout! 5New formula tastes strange but still works goodI'm a big fan of Vega products. I use their Energizers during the day when I need a boost. These don't last as long as a 5-Hour Energy but I like that this product is all plant based. The new formula of this Acai Berry flavor has a really strange taste but so did the previous formula and it just might take a while to get used to it. But I prefer the new Strawberry Lemonade flavor since it's not as arresting. But it still works just as good and the powder doesn't leave a yellow stain on everything like the previous formula. Good stuff! 4Love This Stuff!I am a runner and love working out. This stuff is the bomb! I get a little freaked out when I start running out! I drink 8 oz about 30-45 mins before a run and it helps clear out my system - if you are a runner, you get the importance of that! I don t drink coffee and run fasting. This has what I need to get going. I prefer the sugar-free. Super clean product.As i ve Been using this stuff for years, the new formulation was a surprise, but it s nice not having the level of turmeric in this one - I have many a stained garment from the old formula. 5FAIL!! Value vs. Package Containing Mostly AirThis is a major FAIL . Pleasing the consumer is all about perception. As soon as I open the package, I am mortified by the lack of contents. Relative to other performance and training powders available in the market, this package is small. Moreover, the size of the packaging RELATIVE TO the quantity of contents (more than half air) sure "looks bad" to the consumer. If you send me a package then, as a consumer, I EXPECT that the package will be FULL, not LESS THAN HALF Full - or MORE THAN HALF EMPTY - as the case may be. I purchase all sorts of powder-based products, and they even contain a "Scooper", which is buried inside the powder.I reached out to the company to express my concern. The company rep tells me that their product is shipped by weight. Does anyone care? I don't. Fundamentally, I care about the impact of the product on my training. However, as a consumer, I care about value. Does this product impact my performance? Too soon to tell. Will I purchase the product again? Highly unlikely. There is a lot of competition in the market, and I m sure I won t be standing on the winner s podium because I use this product. 1New Formula. Tastes TerribleI've used this product for seven years, after being diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. My Naturopath encouraged use because of the ginger, tumeric etc... New formula has none of these and it is SO much sweeter. I about gagged on it. Same energy pick-me-up, but the taste and ingredients are not a match for the old formula. 1Over priced flavored waterFirstly the first one I purchased was under half full , got another one and still low just a lik more than the other . It says 35 scoops on the tub I m sure lucky to get 20. The flavor is just ok , I seem to taste more blueberry than anything . Not the best flavor but not the worst either . I didn t feel any energy or mental alertness with taking it, but no side effects either Over all the flavor is ok it s my opinion is it s not worth the money you pay. If I got energy and the flavor was wow , then yes it would be worth it with less servings . But for a not so great tasting flavored water it s no worth the price 2
