Loving this so far getting a lot of use. Great size for a large man. Made in USA!I was looking for a heating pad that was a bit longer as I have pain from the base of my skull and upper neck radiating down my left shoulder and arm and I am a big man @ 6' 350. This pad gives me good coverage and soothing heat for close to 30 minutes after a 2 minute and 30 second cycle in our microwave. In the past I have used other products filled with rice, corn, sand, synthetics and buckwheat with rice giving the best result for me. A drop of two of peppermint or lavender oil helps a bit too.Very nicely made, good price love the color and made in U.S.A. Should have a flag on the instruction tab. 5Great at 1st..decent nowI've had this heating pad for about 2-3 months now.I loved the heating pad 100% when I received it. You can take it anywhere (with a microwave). It feels amazing. I love that it's organic. I actually bought it post car accident, & it soothes my pain.Updated review: The seams are starting to open just enough to let rice fall out. It's not pouring out, but still I would like for it to not be spilling. Hopefully it lasts..if you sew it's a quick fix.. 3DissapointedJust explode in my microwave.. I just bought a second one thinking may be it was " bad luck " who just exploded after 10 days ! unreal ! 2 now 1Works well.Just as the seller described. Easy to use. Feels good against the body. Heat in microwave for 2 minutes for hot pad. Stays hot/warm for at least 20 minutes. Since it's filled with rice, it's easy to maneuver, fold and keep in place. The straps help keep the pad in place on my back and feels good. I haven't used it as a cold pad. It measures 25" by 5" not including the straps. The rice smell is minimal and after the first heating, there was no rice smell. Easy to store in the freezer when not being used which makes it ready to be used as a cold pack. It can go from freezer to microwave. There are written easy to follow direction sheets included in the package plus directions on the label that is sown along the short side of the pad. The only drawback is that I would like it to be about 5" wider. That way one heat session would cover my whole back. Using a rice pad was recommended by my primary care physician. She uses one for her neck.I'm going to purchase the rice eye pad. Since I have dry eyes, my ophthalmologist recommended using a heating pad or a hot wash cloth. I figure this would be better than dripping water 4Recommend this!!I bought 2 of these (so I didn't have to fight my husband for it!), maybe 4 months ago. They are still warming up just great, and I love the length of them. They fit nicely over shoulders, across back, across knees. I have even used them to warm up the bed where my feet go. =) Great quality product! 5Flexibility IssuesThe weight of this wrap is excessive and it's flexibility is non existent. The 'rice' seems to be more like little ball bearings. I need something flexible enough to wrap around my neck and this product does not do it. 1Wonderful Relief for arthritis aches and pains !!I have a bad back, neck and hip. This 3 pack is a GOD send. The heat feels sooooo good on my low back and hip today. It s rainy and 56 degrees out today here in CT and I was achy. The package arrived just (and right) on time to help me feel better. I already envision heating one or more up and putting the between the sheets right before retiring for the night. Just a safety disclaimer: People with sensitive skin and the elderly should use caution when sleeping with them. Not like an electric heating pad but could still cause irritation on sensitive skin.I am a life long customer now of My Heating Pad. Thank you to American manufacturer, Jane Roberts !!!! 5Versatile, High Quality, Very SoothingI can only speak to using this hot. It bunches up nicely to fit on a microwave turntable or into a small microwave without one. I heated it for 2 full minutes. I believe the instructions say not to put it directly on your skin, but it is not too hot at all so I do. I use it for neck arthritis, to fix that morning stiffness. Has only a slight scent of lavender, which is good because I am more of an unscented type. Quality is excellent, not too heavy.Heat lasts a long time. 5Neck wrap.Very nice product. This is much bigger and heavier than the old one I was used to. It heated up really fast within the 2 minutes you are supposed to heat it up. Be sure to wrap it up before placing it on the skin. It works. My neck and shoulder was hurting and I used it there. It relieved my pain after several uses. I also had some minor back pain on my right side due to a minor sprain when turning too fast. I heated it up while looking at tv in my bed and laid on it. What a difference it made. I like the fact that it is filled filled with rice and is microwaveable which makes if very convenient. Be aware this one is heavy. I didn't realize it weighed in at 3lbs. I ordered it one night when I couldn't sleep and didn't read everything. A very good product. I will be using it for all of my aches and pains. 5This heating pad seems like it should be stuffed a little lessThis heating pad seems like it should be stuffed a little less. It is incredibly firm and does not mold to my neck/shoulders where I have pain. I also have found that it does not hold the heat for very long, despite microwaving it for longer than recommended. Unfortunately I fell past the return window for this product, and will be ordering a new Carex Bed Buddy heating pad (which I have used and loved for years). 2
