Spicy, great taste when you find the right strengthAt first I didn't care for this tea because it tasted too sweet for me and had a thick mouth feel to it. However, when I used one pod to make a 14oz cup of tea, it was delicious. Most of my company pick this when they want hot tea. It is spicy which we all enjoy. It's just a matter of finding how strong or weak of a cup you will enjoy. We use one pod and make it on 8oz then using the same pod we make a 6oz cup for a total of 14oz and its perfect.4Like cinnamon red hots....I happen to really like this tea but be fair warned - it has a very strong cinnamon and spice flavor. It s also sweeter than I think some people like their tea. It really tastes like the old cinnamon red hots candies. It s a nice change from plain, bitter teas and the aroma is wonderful. I can t wait to serve this during the holidays. The K- cups worked perfectly in my Keurig machine - no problems whatsoever. I happen to like these a lot and recommend them as long as you are prepared for the strong cinnamon spice flavor very reminiscent of the red hots candies.5the best tea in the world, periodI work at Barnes & Noble, which is how I first tried this tea. I became a little bit obsessed with it. I don't consume any sugar or artificial sweetener, so a small amount of sweetness is very strong to me . When I first tasted this tea, I was sure it was sweetened. I immediately checked their website and confirmed that it wasn't . After months of drinking it, I can state confidently that it does not contain sweeteners, because when I consume sweeteners it aggravates my appetite and cravings, and this tea never has.This tea has spoiled me, and since I quit coffee and drink tea only , I've been searching for other teas that I like , but these days I only drink this one. But my cinnamon tea habit was getting expensive. Even with my employee discount , I was spending about $8 a week on tea, so about $30 a month. I was paying $2.80 an ounce , and I bought this bag of looseleaf tea at a price of $1.28 an ounce. I also bought the Oxo Good Grips Strainer 3-inch since I've never used looseleaf tea and needed something to strain into my cup .My mugs are Fiesta ware 10.25 oz mugs and my Brown Betty teapot holds 5 of them. I use 2 tablespoons of tea in the pot and the flavor is good and strong. I would say the flavor is even fuller, richer, and stronger than the sachets I was using.5The very best K-cup tea you can find... Tied for 1st place only to the other Harney and Sons teas! :)It is easy to name my first place winner for K-cup teas... Harney and Sons!! What isn't so easy... naming my first place flavor in their line-up. The Hot Cinnamon Spice needs no sweetener; it will leave a lingering sweetness on your tongue along with a punch of cinnamon and the aroma of orange. It is amazing that a k-cup can produce such an incredible cup of tea, really! If you enjoy green tea then you should try their Tropical Green Tea. If you are at all a tea lover and haven't found a k-cup variety that has lived up to your standards you should try a Harney and Sons tea capsule and prepare yourself to be amazed.5LOVE the flavor & delivery, k-cups don't fit our storage drawerThe only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I previously bought the 24 count box from Amazon and the k-cups were smaller. We ordered the 48 capsule one this time through this seller. Order came in two 24 count boxes (which didn't bother me at all), but the k-cups were I believe the older Harney & Sons version- they are a smidge larger than the previous ones we ordered from Amazon. Some might not think it's a big deal, but it doesn't fit in our k-cup storage drawer like all other brands, so we have to keep the box on our counter now- taking up space. It still works in our Keurig though. Most all the Harney & Sons k-cups have had this problem- but I've noticed they changed it recently (because of our previous order). That's why we were disappointed to have to go back to the too big ones. If the seller starts selling the new smaller ones- I'd gladly give them a 5 star :) We LOVE the Hot Cinnamon, delivery was super fast, everything else was steller. Might try them again and see if they update.4Beware of Subscription pricesBEWARE!!! Product is listed as $12.98 per box of 24. Ordered 2 boxes totaling $24.66 on the first 2 subscription orders. The third one was charged at $43.17 ($22.72 each), but website still shows a price of $12.98 not $22.72 per box.Great product but not at that price. Couldn't find a way to report the problem on the order other than to return it. Will be stopping the subscription and don't think I'll be trying anything else as a subscription either.1A Light And Refreshing Green TeaI am an avid tea drinker and frequently make tea with loose tea or tea bags, but sometimes the convenience of the K-Cup is necessary for a quick cup. I must say my expectations were not through the roof for a green tea capsule but I was very pleasantly surprised by Harney and Sons Tropical Green Tea. It has a small amount of caffeine for those who are especially sensitive (like me): it's not enough to wake me up in the morning, but it's enough that I won't drink it before bed either.I am unsure exactly what blend of teas is used in this formulation, but it is very delicate and has strong fruity notes (mainly pineapple) that are pleasant though not overwhelming. The tea is very smooth and has no bitter aftertaste like some green teas are inclined to do. I am very impressed with the taste of this tea, and that it can be ready in a minute from my Keurig is compelling.I have eagerly gone through my first box of Harney and Sons Tropical Green Tea, and will be ordering more promptly. Enjoy!5Sachet>Tea Bag > K-cupSo originally I had gotten this from a k-cup variety pack. I tried it randomly one day during the winter and fell in love with it's rich cinnamon taste. It's seriously the most cinnamon-y thing I have ever tasted. It's really amazing that they were able to put so much cinnamon into a single cup of tea. From then on, I was pretty much obsessed with the Hot Cinnamon Spice tea. Turns out, the k-cup variety is the weakest flavored of the bunch! I ended up buying the tea bags first and was completely blown away with how much more flavor they had. Then I found there were sachets of this tea as well and I've honestly never gone back. K-cups are convenient, but if you love the flavor of this tea, do yourself a favor and grab the sachets instead. If k-cups are really the only way for you, this is still a fantastic tea but once you've had the more potent versions, you'll never want to go back.4The best tea, loose leaf seems to be stronger blend than bagged to meThis is my favorite tea and it is so much more cost economical to buy in loose leaf form! The natural sweetness provided by the cinnamon and sweet cloves means I can cut out sugar in my tea altogether. I like my tea strong, so I like being able to determine how much tea to use in my tea ball, rather than being stuck with a preset tea bag amount. I also like brewing this in my 2.5 serving tea pot, and I can easily compost the leaves when I am done.I have tried this tea in all three available forms: individually packaged tea bags, triangle sachets, and this loose leaf form. This is my favorite. The tea bags have the weakest flavor, but are convenient for travel. The triangle sachets are a little stronger and convenient for home use, but are awkward for travel since they need to be kept in a plastic bag. Loose leaf tea is difficult to travel with, but at home it is perfect and has the best flavor, imho.The price I paid for 1 lb of loose leaf tea, using ~1 tsp of tea per cup, means I get 100+ cups of tea per 1 lb bag of loose leaf. The pre-bagged teas come in 20-50 serving sizes for not much less money. The cost savings per cup plus the control over the strength of my tea (I like it strong!), plus the ability to reduce waste by composting and using my reusable tea ball means this tea wins out over my other options. I can indulge in my daily luxury guilt-free!5Buyer - watch out for the color - read review and see pictureThis last batch is not as good as my previous batches. I'm not sure what's going on, but take a look at the photo attached with this review. The first batches came with an "orange" label (left). This most recent batch came with a "gray" label (right). Interestingly, the website shows a 3rd color, a "green" label (bottom).I will say that I much prefer the "orange" to the "grey" label. Never received "green" labels after several orders so can't judge that color. The "grey" has a spice to it that seems to conflict with the tropical green flavors. Obviously, I only discovered this after opening the box as there is no indication of a difference on the outside of the box. If I could I would return the order and ask for "orange" labels or my money back.3
