A GOOD MULTIVITAMIN RECOMMENDED BY TWO CERTIFIED RAW FOOD CHEF'SI started to use this multivitamin on the recommendation of two certified raw food chefs. I have never had a problem with taking this multivitamin. It's just plain, "GOOD STUFF." A husband and wife team who were very knowledgeable in the area of health eating. We do not use the word, "Diet," because the word, "Die," is in it, and that is not something that we want to encourage or do, eh? 5Great men's multi with reasonable amounts of vitaminsThese are the only multivitamins that my husband will take, because they are one of the few options out there that do not contain amounts that go way over the RDA. Other than 400% of the RDA of B12 and 200% of D most other vitamins are at the 100% level, which I think is a good idea. He is able to take even on an empty stomach with no issues.By the way recently the formula was slightly changed, and the vitamins now contain a "RAW Organic Fruit & Vegetable Blend". 5Truly whole foods derived.I cannot find information on the authenticity of ingredients being derived from whole foods. 3Raw as HellI like to think this is the reason I have not gotten sick so far since taking these. My girlfriend got the flu. My roommate got the flu. My students get the flu on the daily. I was hoping to just get a mild energy boost, but these coupled with Iodine and D/K2 boosted me back to prime. Workouts became easier and my energy doubled. These are worth every penny. 5Had to discontinue due to adverse reactionI took these until getting mouth sores, then stopped for a few weeks. Then took again and got the same sores and quit again, and tried again several weeks later, and the same thing happened so I stopped using... Maybe I have an allergy to something in it, but I am unaware of allergies to anything else. 2Great men s multivitaminWe have purchased many other Garden of Life products and loved all of them. The Raw One Men s vitamin is no different. It has helped my husband ward off the nasty winter sicknesses and only has to be taken once a day. Weve never had this kind of reaction to any vitiams we ve taken. 1Stomach TroubleI usually scoff at people posting about 'bad taste' for vitamins, or 'upset my tummy' --especially for a men's vitamin. I have a very strong stomach and have zero digestive issues. However...I noticed immediate indigestion with this vitamin and it continued until I stopped taking it eventually (~2 weeks of use). It even persisted for a few days after. I've used a handful of different vitamins but never had any issue.I thought it was maybe just me, so I gave the rest of them to my brother (with the warning about what they did to me). He took ONE pill and vomited. It might be fine for you, but I thought it was only right to offer a fair warning. 1
