It worksI've been using this for a few weeks. It works well and does offer some relief. I don't wake up with tingly fingers, but it does take time to get used to sleeping with my elbow immobilized. I actually bent the metal piece so that I could have my elbow bent just a little which was much more comfortable. 4Don't even botherI threw it away. It is some soft cloth and my arm could bend freely in it as if there was nothing at all on my arm but some clothing.You pull this stretchy netting over your arm and wrap the soft felt cloth over that and fasten it with velcro. And bend your arm easily at will.And boy howdy is it uncomfortable! I tried to get it tight so hopefully my arm would be straight and immobilized but all that did was cut off the circulation in my arm.Please don't bother with this. Useless. 1WorksI got two as I have ulnar nerve problems in both arms. They do their job in keeping my arms straight, and they seem to have helped my nerves improve quite a bit in just a few weeks. Now the cons: They are very cheap, but, keep in mind you're not paying much for them either. One thing they could do to improve them is instead of leaving the slot open where the plastic piece inserts, there should be some velcro, as I woke up many a night to the plastic piece sticking halfway out on both arms. Also, the plastic is very straight and brittle and I ended up snapping one in half in my sleep. The plastic can be shaped, but you have to heat it in order to do that. I just put it over my stove and bent it a little so my arms weren't fully extended all night. In all, it's a good idea, but there are a few flaws that could easily be resolved. 3This is pretty basic - its a piece of cloth with a ...This is pretty basic - its a piece of cloth with a plastic rib inside it that you velcro around your arm to keep your arm straight at the elbow. There is nothing more to it than that. It did help my ulnar nerve problem. However, it is definitely not comfortable to wear; it takes some time to get used to sleeping with it and is cumbersome. It definitely can slide down off your elbow when you sleep. Overall this was functional, but if I need it again I might consider a different splint. 3It works!I was starting to develop cubital tunnel syndrome in my left elbow and this was recommended to me by my physical therapist. Since I began to wear it at night, the tingling and numbness in my left arm and hand have subsided, so it seems to be doing the trick. It doesn't hold your elbow in a rigid position you still have considerable range of motion but it prevents you from tucking your elbow in tightly while you sleep. During the day, I've taken to wearing it on my right elbow, which was broken in a biking accident last summer, and it's helping me keep that arm extended straight as part of my physical therapy, so I'm getting double duty out of it. I am a small-boned guy and it's a little large for me (and would be for most women). 4Slips offI gave this many shots over the past few weeks, but thee problem is it doesn't stay on. The only way it could stay on is, is if you wrap it very tight, which is uncomfortable and actually causes pain. I tried to find that sweet spot, where it would be on comfortably and not slide off during the night, but I was unsuccessful at getting it stay on for even one night. I should have trusted the other reviews that mentioned this problem. I wouldn't recommend this product for those looking for a night time brace for ulnar nerve issues. 1Pil-O-Splint Needs a FixI ordered this splint as a support brace for cubital tunnel syndrome. Perhaps my arms are too small for this device, because it would not stay on as I used it while sleeping to keep my arm straight. Making it too tight seem to restrict blood flow and no tight enough served no purpose. The rod that is used inside the slot on this splint should perhaps be wider and more rigid to really benefit the user. But none of this matters if you can't get the splint to stay on throughout the night. 3Sleep saverMy father has cubical tunnel and was in so much Pain that he made a splint with his remote to immobilize his elbow. I bought him this and he is so happy. It really helps him especially at night while he is sleeping. Great price from this seller and great email communication. 5No durability - the plastic splint that is supposed to keep your arm straight snaps VERY easilyThe design is decent, in theory at least. After using mine for just over two weeks (one on each arm), the plastic inserts have already snapped in both. I was sleeping with them fitted and positioned as designed, I slowly rolled onto my side and then *CRACK* - the plastic splint split in two and woke me right up. If you flex, put any pressure on your elbow, or even move a little too quickly, the slight pressure on the splint will shatter it in an instant. I'm now stuck with $50 worth of cloth arm wraps that are all but useless without the insert, and the manufacturer states that they don't sell replacement splints, only the full units. I can't justify buying two more of these things after the first two fared so poorly, but I don't see many better alternatives.*Also note, the slit opening where the plastic piece is inserted is very poorly implemented, so expect the splint to slide out frequently. 2Good for sleeping but a little too flexible for daytime useI was hoping to use this for a couple months before ulnar nerve surgery, but it was too flexible so i had to get a stiffer product for daytime use. However, it was definitely the better product for using to sleep. I was worried it would keep me up at night, but it didn't at all. Comfortable and unobtrusive. It was best during the first week or so and then it did seem to get stretched out over time. Still overall it was worth the price. 4
