Love the open toe version, sleeve not so much . . .I have been on my feet a lot lately and noticed that at the end of the day the top of my feet and ankles would be swollen. After speaking with coworkers, I decided to try compression socks to help but I did not want to wear the traditional looking socks (yes, vanity). I ran across these socks and was immediately pleased with the look . . . but will do the job. Because of the swelling in my feet, I decided to try the opened toe version.I received the order very quickly and the socks were wrapped very well. The colors looked exactly like it did in the pics. I purchased the xl and the fit was perfect (women s size 8, 18 calf). I wore them all day and I felt and saw a drastic improvement. My legs were not as tired. The swelling went down a lot! I liked them so much that I purchased 2 more pairs but this time the sleeves (I wanted to be able to wear them with sandals. Unfortunately, those did not work out. I had to pull them off 30 mins after wearing them. Even though I purchased the same size they were just too tight. I don t know why there was a difference. . . but I ll stick with the open toe version. Would definitely purchase again. 5Very happy with this purchase!I got these not because I am on my feet all day but because I sit at a desk all day. Of course I try to get up and walk around when I can but there are days I am just too busy. I work out after work but find there are days I feel like I have what I call "log legs" when my legs just feel heavy from being in a dependent position through the day. These have helped immensely. Sometimes I keep them on while I'm on the treadmill, sometimes I don't but either way my legs feel so much better when working out. They are very good quality and are holding up perfectly. There are less expensive products but I a a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I also have a 14.5 calf, ordered L and they fit perfectly. I was a little worried that they would be too loose around my ankles but they are just right. Make sure you read the directions for washing, that will help increase the life of these sleeves! 5Awesome sleeves, LOVE the color pattern, fit greatI am 5'9", wear a size 10 women's shoe, weigh 140 lbs, and size 6 or 8 pants, have proportionate width calves for someone my height. I ordered a Large or XL in all the highly rated and/or socks that had colors I liked (Physix Gear, Odd Duck, TMF (Treat My Feet), Doc Miller, Sigvaris, Swell Relief, Newzill, Iseasoo, Crucial Compression, SB Sox, Go2Socks, Rymora. So I got a really good compare and contrast of the fit, look, material, length, differences in compression etc. Some felt more like socks without much compression, some compressed my feet too much and cut off the circulation. Some were too short and didn't quite reach up to my knees and caused an unsightly bulge out over the top, some were soft yet substantial and invigorating, some were thin and had too much of a binding at the top or bottom band.My top three of the closed toe full socks would probably be the Crucial, SB Socks, and Rymora. My top favorites for the footless calf sleeves would be Doc Miller and Sigvaris.The Doc Miller nude sleeves in a more hoserie material in the same 20-30 mmHg have a different feeling than the Doc Miller pink striped sleeves in the same 20-30 mmHg. The nude sleeves fit fine in XL, but I had to move up to 2XL in the pink sleeves - the sock-like material has less give. But they look fantastic, and really help stop the vein pains in my calf and shins. 5Good fit, seem to be good qualityI actually really like how these fit/feel. They're a little thicker than a previous, more expensive brand I purchased, but I think they'll hold up better. My only "complaint" is that they are a little long for me, but not so bad that I can't work with it and they're not uncomfortable. I bought a second pair in a different color. I will note that my calves are slightly different sizes and right on the cusp of two sizes (14.5"/15"). I ended up going with the medium and they worked out well. I've washed them twice (air dry) and they are holding up so far. 4As Good As Support Can BeI am pleased to share my experience wearing these socks. They are the most comfortable, supportive for tennis and walking, pleasing to look at, maintain their compression after many washes, reasonably priced and just plain wonderful. I have been wearing compression for years for mild reflux, and when my doctor suggested open toe, 20-30 I came in wearing a well worn pair of doc miller that had been washed many times. He said both the fit and the longevity were excellent. In comparing the socks to other brands, the "packaged" sets stretch out after the first wearing and can rip putting them on and the expensive "medical" ones hold their shape but cost 2 or 3 times as much so I could only buy 1 pair instead of 3, washing them every night and hoping they air dry. Listen to grandma, she knows what's best. As a bonus, the seller is responsive and a pleasure to work with. 5Great quality, firm and comfortable fit that doesn t budge.I have 14 calves, the cut off for size Medium. I wasn t sure if I should go up a size because I have long legs. The Medium fits perfectly! They are hard to get on, as they should be to get good compression, and I have to tug on them quite a bit to get them in place. There is no fear of ripping them. A great quality knit. I ll definitely buy again. 5Supremely pleased.On my feet on concrete all day at work. I also have spider veins (precursor to varicose veins). Went with compression sleeves rather than socks because A) I have big calves so the foot part of any compression socks would be too big, and B) Don't have to wash them as often as they aren't subject to foot sweat. After a few consecutive days of wearing a single pair to work, they do start to roll at the top and around the ankle. These get washed and I switch to another pair. Since wearing them I have less pain in my lower legs (before these I would get the beginnings of shin splints sometimes), and less pain in my hips (who'da thought?!). If you are on your feet all day, I'd recommend giving these a shot. Some of them say machine wash cold / air dry, and some say hand wash cold / air dry. Machine wash cold and air dry works just fine. I also like the variety of colors offered. Fits true to their size chart. 5Really worked!I have large calves (18"), and ankles that swell badly - they do even worse in the heat. I wore a pair of the compression sleeves for three days in Atlanta, in August, walking or standing for hours a day. They were terrific! They helped my legs feel better, reduced swelling, and eliminated the rash that I often get around my lower legs due to swelling and heat. They were very comfortable, leaving almost no indention in the top of the leg and only a small indention around the ankle. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has problems with leg/ankle swelling. 5Fits firmly, complete compression support, no slidingThese support stockings are amazing! Had a motorcycle impact injury to my leg and as I have gotten older, the veins and valves just aren't doing a great job anymore. I wear a stocking from morning to night and the pain goes away. Really nice looking and fits firmly with complete compression support. Fit firmly around the ankle and comes up below the knee. Does not slide down all day. Ran smallI had several varicose vein surgeries on both of my legs this year and needed more compression stockings. These are not the same quality as the kind my doctor sells. They are thinner and have less compression, but they are super cute and would be fine if you just needed something for a short term wear. I bought the size my measurement fell under. I loved them for the look very cute on and got another pair the next larger sz which fit much better, but after washing and wearing them since Christmas, the stockings did not hold their compression as much as expected & now are just cute nylon knee highs. I'm 5.9 and 145 woman with fairly thin legs, need compression stockings as on my feet all day. 3
