It REALLY works!The greatest invention for those of us who are less nimble, whose eyes aren't quite as good as they used to be, and who don't always have a significant other to help us latch our jewelry. I bot several and keep them stashed in handy places and gave one as a stocking stuffer. They're not rocket science, but they work! I am wearing bracelets I haven't worn in several years because I couldn't latch them without this nifty tool! 5Works great!I'm right handed but I also like to wear bracelets on my right hand which is sometimes hard to do when I have to clasp them with my left hand. I used this on a few bracelets and it works well. Fits perfectly inside a drawer in my jewelry box for storage. 5Makes the nearly impossible possibleThis handy little device makes the (nearly) impossible possible! Either my bracelet is on my wrist or it's attached to this helper until I wear it next. 5Works wellTook me a second to figure it out but this works well once you get the trick. I have a couple of bracelets that need to be smaller so the main ornaments stay on the top of my wrist and they are terrible to put on without this. 5Bracelet HelperItem looks handmade but does what it is supposed to do, with some practice. The wooden handle could be a little longer..as I don't think I have large hands. Thank you 4Great product to help with bracelets.This is a great product to help with lobster claw clasps on bracelets. This bracelet helper makes putting on a bracelet a snap for me. The clip goes on the loop while you work the lobster claw. It's fast and easy. 5Handy gadget that works!I was surprised at how well this works. I have a couple of bracelets that are strung on wire and they are stiffer than a chain bracelet, thus making it hard to catch the jump ring with the clasp. This solved that problem beautifully. Now I don't have to wait to wear them until someone is around who can work the clasp for me. 5The clamp is so tight that it holds its quarry just fine.Really, it's VERY helpful! I'm a total clutz with lobster clasps on bracelets. By holding the receiving end of the bracelet with this device, I have one less thing to coordinate. I still struggle to open the lobster clasp and keep it open, but once that is conquered, I now have a stable place to attach it.When the helper arrived, I took one look at the teeth of the alligator clip and covered both sides with moleskin. Y'know, this stuff: Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus (3 strips), although I bought it a my local drugstore (gasp!) The clamp is so tight that it holds its quarry just fine.Attached is a photo of the wrapped clip. 5Great product.I've purchased several of these. One for myself, of course. They make great gifts. My lady friends love them. They are so easy to use, not only for bracelets but for necklaces. I love them. 5Ya get what ya pay forFirst, I take full responsibility for this disaster purchase because I should have examined the photographs more closely and read more reviews.Second, let me describe to you what this is.Think of the big fat pencil you had to use when you were in kindergarten. Ok now, slice off the pencil point. Now get an alligator clip and a hammer. Start hammering the alligator clip into the child size pencil. Now, like magic you have a Bracelet Mate!Third, this is unusable, the teeth are so sharp and the grip is so tight. I tested this on my finger before using on jewelry AND NO WAY would I ever use this on even the cheapest piece of jewelry. The clamp is wayyyyyy tooooo tight. It would definitely bend or break a piece of jewelry.I threw it in the garbage, not with the hassle of returning.Long story short, DO NOT BUY, you ve been warned!!! 1
