I had been looking for a bench to include but didn't want something that looked like it belonged in a hospital I purchased this for our new tiled shower. I had been looking for a bench to include but didn't want something that looked like it belonged in a hospital. I also didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for one either. This one was perfect. It's well made and looks nice inside the shower. Amazon has another similar one with a shelf underneath, but it was more than twice the price and I felt it was too expensive. It would have been my preference as it seemed like it would hold the few products we use in the shower. This stool however, is lightweight and easily moved. If someone didn't want to keep it inside the shower, it can be moved and still not take up valuable space or as I've seen pictured, could stack extra towels on it outside the shower. There are drain holes on top, even though they are not pictured. I will upload a picture I took of this one that I sent to a friend who was looking for something small and lightweight for her shower. 5The best thing I have had in the shower with me in decades. I'm 54, so I figure I've been shaving my legs for about 40 years. Standing up. For 40 years I have been either standing and bending over, or standing and lifting my foot to prop it on any available ledge or wall. Since I hit 50, I've been thinking that maybe this isn't the safest way to go about it, but I've been loathe to admit to myself that I can't do it anymore so I continued to stand, and wobble.Now my youngest is headed to college, I'm about to be an empty-nester (don't want to talk about it!), and I decided that slipping and falling in the shower and knocking myself unconscious underwater while cutting myself with my razor in the fall, is not something I want to do when there's nobody else at home. So I bought this seat (which btw DID come with 3 teardrop drainage holes).OMG where has this BEEN all my life? And WHY OH WHY didn't I buy one earlier??? I love it. It stays in the corner when I stand, and cradles my 50yo bottom in comfort and stability when I want to sit. Of COURSE it is ideal for shaving, in fact it makes shaving exponentially easier. But it's good for so many other things!!! A few things I have used it for: sitting and letting the hot water beat on my tight old lady neck muscles, sitting to pumice my yucky old lady feet, sitting while I wait the stupid 5 minutes when I deep condition my dry old lady hair, and sitting to deep breathe in rainforest-esque comfort after discussing college tuitions with the ex. Feel free to tailor this list to meet your own needs.BOTTOM LINE: Seriously the best thing I have had in the shower with me for decades. 5Fits the bill for a small shower. I have a very small shower, so a big seat would not work for me. This little seat works great and takes up little room. I weigh 225 and this seat feels very stable. The seat drains water well. With the triangular shape, it affords different sitting positions. I really am pleased with this seat. Tina D doesn't weigh 225, I am her husband using this seat. Sorry honey! 5Cute shower stool! This is exactly what I was looking for... small enough to fit in the shower and not take up too much space. Mine also came with three holes in the seat so the water wouldn't pool on the seat. The one negative of the seat is that it's very slippery to sit on while in the shower... so if you're trying to shave your legs, it can be a bit difficult. I fixed this problem by buying the tub adhesive stickers and put them on the seat... this worked perfectly... see photo! 4Great little seat for the shower. I was looking for a bench for the shower but didn t want to spend $$$$ for a teak seat. I would have preferred something wood looking but wanted to make sure my seat would last.I love that this seat is compact and fits into the corner of the shower. It doesn t get in my way when I m not using it. It s got a few holes in the center to drain water and has a concave seat. The first time I used it, the seat is a little uncomfortable because of the fact that s it s concave but not enough to bother me. If you don t plan to sit on it but use it as a perch to shave, it s absolutely perfect. The next time I used it standing up to shave and like that a lot better. I only wish I d bought it sooner. 4Almost exactly what i was looking for. I had to file the holes a bit, the first time i used it i lost a little butt meat. Im 5'11/190 pounds and use this in a small corner stall shower, it fits perfectly in the space and supports me without any issues. My shower floor is textured and the rubber feet stay in place, no slippage there.I would have given it 5 stars if the surface was just a bit textured as it can get a bit slippery. 4Very comfortable to sit on I've been looking for something that would fit over the existing shelves of the large shower stall in the house. It is not possible to sit on those shelves, believe me I tried and almost got killed. I came across this particular shower stool on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. It is perfect, the legs do come off and if you take the rubber at the bottom of two legs and place them into the holes in the bottom of the seat where the legs go you get a good grip where you're sitting and no slippage. I'm not sure if the manufacturer would approve of my method but I'm here to tell you that my hack works! I wish I had found the seat ealier. 5Love it. I hate to say this, but I love this stool. It's small but sturdy and just the right height to sit on or put your foot up for shaving or cleaning. Mine has holes on the top for water to flow out. It doesn't look like a medical device, sits nice in a shower corner, and requires little to no maintenance. Item measures only 11". 1The photo is outdated, but the stool is awesome My husband likes to squat down in the shower after a long day of work and let the hot water hit him on the back. I've been looking for a stool for a while that didn't look like it belonged in a hospital and I came across this one. He absolutely loves it! It looks exactly like the picture and is very sturdy, the only difference being now the top has three little holes in it so water can drain out. Definitely a much-needed addition. 5
