You can modify this product for ideal fit for youI bought the wide loop. Thought it would be perfect for splinting 2nd and 3rd toes. It was WAY too big. I could fit 3 of my toes in the loop. So, I cut the product at the place where the soft part meets the narrow wraparound strap. After you cut it, it's one long piece. Now wrap. Voila. It works perfectly. Soft, cushy and very easy to splint. Glad I have the wide because it splints the entire length of the toe. I've used other toe splint products and -- after modifying -- this is the best. 5So much better than tape!I stubbed my toe about a month ago and have been in constant pain. Went to see a sports injury doctor who viewed the x-rays and determined that the toe wasn't broken, but that I had collateral ligament damage and needed to keep the injured toe taped to the adjacent one.I had been taping for weeks, but the tape got sticky and uncomfortable. The doctor had recommended Toe Trainers, but I saw the so-so reviews and opted for these instead.They are really are great, readjust easily if I put them on too tight, are soft, comfortable to wear, and best of all, I am pain free when I have these on.Excellent product and I am very happy to have found it! 5Excellent, but WAY too expensiveI am using these after foot surgery. I had every toe on my right foot broken and am using them to keep my 2nd toe tethered to my big toe because the surgery was unsuccessful. :-( Even though I love these, they do not hold up well with every day use over time. I still use mine, but the velcro has worn out so that now I use surgical tape to hold it in place.My only complaint is that they are WAY too expensive. It's just a little piece of cloth for goodness sake! I wish they would sell these in packs of 25 for like $25...then I would buy them again. But 3 for $15??? It's too much for someone like me who has to use these every day probably for the next 30 years of my life or until I have another foot surgery. I'm going to try to make these on my own. 5These seem to helpI am delighted with these so far. I got them for "curly toe" which can be excruciating. While I am using them with sandals, which take the pressure off anyway, my toes have become pain free in the last few days. When I begin to wear closed toe shoes, I am doubtful they will be enough protection for the worst toe on one foot but but think they may be for the not so bad toe on the other foot. 5Very nice product!These are so great for a broken big toe! My doctor told me to tape them together and the medical tape hurt, was not flexable and stuck too hard to the toe. I bought some of that stretchy stuff that sticks to itself witch kept sliding off as I walked. These stay on nicely thanks to a soft rubber type backing, they have a soft cover and they are very adjustable so I have been making it a bit looser as the toe feels better. 5He said they have worked quite well for other patients with easier issues so I would still recommend them!Definitely did what they are supposed to do, however I have some misalignment after a significant double toe joint reconstruction (was a risk but being pain free is totally worth the crooked toes). My Podiatrist warned me that they might not give much improvement, and they didn't, but that is due to the surgeon having to shorten my toe ligaments quite a bit to repair the damage I did and absolutely not the fault of the product. He said they have worked quite well for other patients with easier issues so I would still recommend them! 5This is a life saver for a broken toe.If you have broken a toe and have tried to mess with wrapping your toes together this is a life saver. It's extremely comfortable and is easy to put on and take off without wrestling with that hurt toe. It stays on even on the hot days when tape won't stick. It also washed up easily, I hand washed it and then air dried it. It started to stretch out a little after being worn for two months but has enough velcro to continue to tighten it if that happens. 5May not work for pinky toe injury.While seemingly a useful concept, for someone with a broken pinky toe, strapping it to the next toe could not be done with my foot. My pinky toe is quite a bit shorter than the next and after trying for a good 30 minutes, gave up as it kept sliding off my toes. With the fuzzy loop exterior, I could not use tape of band-aids to hold it on as they would not stick. 1Excellent for broken toes!I broke my left middle toe on 7/5. I was using waterproof medical tape and going through a LOT of it ($6 per roll). Every time I got my toe wet I had to reward my toe with fresh tape. I searched online and lucked out with these toe loops. Right away they were great! I used them to buddy tape and they are much more comfortable than the tape. I take it off to shower then put right back on. There were three in the pack. They are extremely comfortable and well made. I have been alternating between the three for over a month now and they still look new. You can rinse them and sit them on a windowsill to dry and they are perfect. We vacationed in NYC for a week recently and must have walked 6-10 miles a day. I wore sandals so you would think these things would have gotten worn and dirty but they still look like the day I bought them. Even though I broken my toe 7 weeks ago, I am still using these to 'buddy tape' and will do so for another few weeks. I see these guys lasting. I hope to never break another toe but will just use see again if that happens. 5Great for broken toes!I had been wrapping my toes, one on each foot, with gauze and tape. When I saw these Toe loops, I felt they would work better and I was not disappointed! I have been wearing them for two weeks straight now and they have held up beautifully. I am not wasting tape and guaze every time I take a shower. I have not washed them yet but even if they do not last after washing, I still have saved money in the long run! These loops protect my toes and support them so that they do not bend while healing. Excellent product! 5
